Chocolate Cutout Cookies: Wookie Cookies
These are adorable. I was so happy when these came out of the oven and I saw how they were going to turn out. And they are incredibly easy! I think if you were going to have a viewing party before the new movie comes out in theaters you should make these cookies. They take so little time, they use a cookie cutter you already have, and there is minimal frosting.
Ingredients
¾ cup sugar
½ cup butter, softened
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons cornstarch
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon espresso powder or instant coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
½ cup cocoa powder
2 cup flour
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease your baking sheets.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, oil, baking powder and vanilla until fluffy and pale. Add egg and mix well.
