Happy Friday Everyone! Can you believe it’s already March? I don’t know about you all but I’m so ready for springtime weather, getting outdoors and enjoying the sunshine, and having fun gatherings with family and friends.

And of course a gathering wouldn’t be complete without a yummy dessert, which is why I’ve teamed up with my friends at Save-A-Lot today to bring you a delicious better than the box brownie recipe.

Today I’m sharing my easy to make Peanut Butter Cheesecake Swirl Brownies that are the perfect choice when you don’t have time to make something from scratch, but you want a dessert that tastes absolutely amazing.

Ingredients
Brownie Batter
  • 1 box Brownie Mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed on box)
  • Peanut Butter Cheesecake Swirl
  • 8 oz cream cheese (1/3 less fat recommended)
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (or as directed on brownies).
  2. In large mixing bowl, prepare brownie mix as directed and set aside.
  3. In medium sized mixing bowl, beat cream cheese for 1 minute or until smooth. Add in peanut butter and continue mixing until smooth.
  4. Add in sugar, egg, flour, and vanilla and mix until well combined and creamy.
  5. Pour all but 1/2 cup of brownie batter into a 9x13 glass baking dish, that has been well coated with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Spoon peanut butter cream cheese mixture in dollops on top of the brownie mixture and lightly spread.
  7. Spoon the rest of the brownie batter on top and using a knife begin swirling the batter drawing vertical and horizontal lines. Have fun creating the marbled effect here- you really can't mess this part up!
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Once fully baked, remove from oven and let cool before cutting into bars.
